Surgical Services
The Surgical Services Department at Palms West Hospital offers twenty-four hour peri-operative care seven days a week to both adult and pediatric patients. Our highly qualified healthcare team provides comprehensive surgical care to hospital patients and out patients undergoing General, Gynecology, Orthppedic, Neurosurgery, Plastic, Podiatry, Opthalmology, Dental/Oral Surgery and ENT procedures. The surgical team working with our patient liason will keep your family/significant others informed of your progress as they wait in the comfort of our Surgical Waiting Room. The Surgical Waiting Room has television, is airy, spacious, and has a vending area nearby.
It will be important to let your surgical team know who is able to receive information about your surgery. Upon completion of the procedure, your surgeon will communicate with family and our post operative nursing team will also keep them updated and notify them when you are being transferred to the recovery room, ambulatory unit or back to your hospital room.
